Alex Wynn

Board Member

Alex brings over a decade of experience in the International Humanitarian Aid sector, working primarily for the International Rescue Committee. She specializes in working with refugee and migrant populations in conflict and reconstruction settings. She has helped manage aid programs across West Africa, the Middle East, South East Asia and Eastern Europe. Alex has also held roles in international program strategy working across IRC’s 40 country programs to help develop, contextualize and implement organizational strategic priorities. She has worked in conjunction with the United Nations, the U.S. and Foreign Governments, as well as Civil Society organizations around the world.

Alex has a Masters degree in International Relations from The New School in New York City and a BA in Sociology and Ethnic Studies, with a Minor in Dance from the University of Colorado. Before her pivot into International Humanitarian Aid, Alex was a professional dancer. Art and creativity are essential to her identity and she understands the power of creative expression to cultivate joy and confidence in every area of one’s life.

Alex is currently working as the Mom of two fabulous sons, as well as consulting on Public Policy and Community Relations for the Water-Saving Technology Company, CNSRV.
